After you request a basic account or subscribe to a standard or premium account, please email your menu as PDF, JPEG (JPG) or PNG to info@simplemobilemenu.com.
Once your Simple Mobile Menu is ready, you'll receive a x1, x2, and x12 QR codes on 8.5" x 11" size print designs, plus a scalable version to use as you see fit.
iPhones with iOS 11 or higher, and Android devices with Android 9 or higher can scan QR codes using the built-in Camera app in photo mode.
- Open the Camera app
- Point the rear-facing camera at the QR code
- Tap the notification/banner to open the Simple Mobile Menu link
Check the internet connection on your smartphone by opening any website.
If you can't open any website, proceed to the step that applies to you:
- If you're on WiFi, disable it and try your cellular connection
- If you're not on WiFi, try turning Airplane mode off/on
If you can open any website, verify the integrity of your QR code by scanning the digital version we sent you.
There is no such thing as 100% safe technology, and QR codes are no exception.
To protect your guests and minimize risks, take measures to avoid tampering of the QR code, and routinely perform audits to verify your Simple Mobile Menu URL.
